He Loves the pool!

Our kids Had the day off on Friday so we took the kids to the pool. We had told them the night before we where going to go swimming they where so excited, but then that night it ended up snowing and so when Fabrice woke up and looked outside he was so worried that we would not be able to go swimming we tried to tell him that the pool was in a building.
Fabrice was so cute when we got there he just ran to the water and fell in.
We loved that little Yonelson just loved the pool,we where not sure if he would since everytime we went to Haiti he would get his suit on but not really get in the pool. But don't worry he loves the pool he was the one that cried the loudest when we had to leave. They are doing so good their hair is growing so fast there stomach is getting flatter and they are picking up on english and we also have found away to talk with each other. I love that when Dave comes Home from work they all run to the door to Hug him,It just feels so right to have them Home with us.

Hanging out with Papa Blanc

So Nerlande has learned that her Papa is not so bad,she and Yonelson always want his attention at the same time but Dave is really good about working it out with them and to give attention to both of them.
I find it so amazing how well they pick up on Electronic's they will fit in just fine when they get home.

We have been missing these 3 kids so much, this past weekend we where looking at the photos that started this fun Adventure, and now we have one more sweet kid to love. We can not wait to see you guys again we hope you are doing fine and we love you!

Wishing for a Merry Christmas and Many Miracles

we are getting ready for Christmas and New years eve. This year we have decided to take our kids to the Las Vega's Bowl to cheer on our BYU Football team. It will be a long drive since we have to stop every two hours to let kaleb stretch and make sure he gets some blood flowing so we do not have any more blood clot, but we fill like it will be a great time for our kids. Dave and the boys will go to the football game and me and Payton will spend some fun girl time going to Madame tussauds wax museum. It has been a hard few months but hopefully we are on a good uphill and will have a great new year in 2010.
Tonight was our Christmas party for our Company and so I told my kids they had to go and tell Santa what they wanted and the Santa seemed shocked when all three of our kids told them they did not want anything for Christmas. But then Kaleb said he did want some new legs:)
we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a great new year
we will keep those that are in need at this time of the year in our prayers.
we wish for Some Christmas Miracles

Something to think about

So Poor Dave has been sick for the last two weeks and we have been to the doctors the first time they said he had a sinus infection but then he still was not getting better so we took him back today and we showed the doctor how poor Dave's jaw was all swollen and had been for the last several days. The doctor said he had not seen mumps around for along time. but Dave has it.
So we found out even if you are current on your immunizations ,but you travel to third world countries you should get your MMR shot along with the other strange ones we got we just did not get the Mumps one a little too late but Dave will have a lifetime Immunity to it.

How fast they learn

Wow It's amazing how the kids would watch or we would show them once and they picked up using the computer to look at pictures or we had them talk to our kids at home and they wanted to call them again. Yonelson loved carrying Dave's phone around and Nerlande wanted to look at the pictures on the Laptop. They are so quick at learning stuff. we hope all the kids are doing well at the O and we keep all of them in our prayers during these hot months. we love you Nerlande and Yonelson.

Warning a gross thing

so poor kolbie is still dealing with Haiti aftermath we have been to the Doctors more then I can count Kolbie has had to get over his fear of needles each and ever appt. they take blood and he has been tested twice for Malaria, and every infection you can think of so has Dave. but it looks like Kolbie got the worst of it. but we are thankful for the fact that we can get him the antibiotics that he needs. kolbie sleeps for hours on ends and wakes up so he can soak his foot in Epsom salt and then go back to bed. but if you ask him if he will ever go back to Haiti he says "sure I had fun and I am going back" . so It looks like Haiti has another cheering fan hoping the country will dig its way out some day. So Kolbies and Dave diagnose from the Doctor is
Dengue fever looks like the CDC has confirmed a outbreak in the Caribbean and sub-tropical areas.

looks like we brought back more then just regular souvenirs.
We hope everyone is feeling better and hope all the little ones are getting better or staying better.

I know he loves me

I was just thinking about our anniversary trip last year. I know my honey loves me because he goes on my wild trips across the country when he hates to travel. This was our adventure to Cozumel, I thought I would be a nice wife and take him deep sea fishing. Well he was fine on the boat ride out to the ocean and he was Lucky enough to catch a barracuda and after about 20 minutes out the ocean got a little rough due to the hurricanes and poor Dave went white as a ghost. He went to puke over board and knocked his head into a steel pipe and when he turned around his head was bleeding bad. poor honey!! well I know you love me because you are so willing to go on my crazy adventures and support me. I love you so much and I love that you work so hard for us. Thank you very much!!!

Thinking of you guys

Dave and I have birthdays that are two days apart and celebrated them today. It was nice weather so we where able to have a barbecue and all the kids where outside running around and playing. I was thinking how it will be so fun to watch Nerlande and Yonelson playing on the trampoline, swinging and playing on the slide, and most importantly having fun with there cousins. I pray that the Haiti Government can figure out how to get files through the system faster. we have about 53 more days until we will be back in Haiti to love and check on them and spend some family time in Haiti. we are collecting lots of stuff to sell at the yard sale coming up on Saturday. we Hope the sale will turn out good so we are able to get them the needed supplies and know they are taken care of. We love you guys so much stay strong and healthy.
