We are Back....

Emergency room after the <span class=

Unfortunately we are Back at primary children's Hospital yesterday poor kaleb was having a lot of back pain and trouble breathing . we tried everything we could think of to make it better but nothing was working so at 11:00pm we decided I should take him to the E.R. and I am glad i listened to my gut feeling to bring him all the way to Primary instead of just the American fork Hospital. For those who don't know Primary children's is about a hour drive from our house and I felt so bad because every little bump in the road would just hurt him so bad. he cried all the way to the hospital. we finally got here and the whisked him off to get he checked out before i could get him all signed in. After a couple of test they found out he has a Blood Clot in his right lung and they Admitted him to I.C.U and started blood thinners. we have heard how they are shocked he got a blood clot because this rarely happens to kids.

He Has been able to become stable and he is not in as much pain thanks to Morphine and all the other meds he is on but unfortunately the blood thinner is a shot he get's every 12 hours in his stomach.

sometimes it is so hard to be a parent and watch your kids in so much pain and can not do anything about it.

  1. I'm so glad you knew just what to do to help Kaleb (PCH.) I am so sorry that things are so difficult right now... I think its safe to say that you are right on track to very special blessings. Please tell Kaleb to keep hanging in there. We are thinking of you guys and praying for you as well. We love you guys! ~ Mare & Family

  2. I'm sorry that can be really scary, I hope they can get it taken care of quickly and he will be back home on his way to a full recovery! Hang in there!

  3. Wow, I'm glad he is okay ! Sounds like he is getting great care at PCH.Glad he is doing better.
    Praying for you all !

  4. Oh my word! Kaleb, we're praying for you! Way to go, Mom. I'm very glad you took him to PCH. We've spent a lot of time at AFH with Brent's various kidney stones and, while they're fine, I feel better knowing they knew K's history.

Do you guys need anything? You've been in the hospital for a couple weeks now... Goodness! Email us if we can help.
