First Sleepover!

Wow Together In America!!

This last Wed. we had a little get together. One of the Family from our Hope group was coming into town so we had a little get together so the kids could visit each other.
The whole night it was hard not to smile for several reasons first the kids where home and safe second to see special things like Brent and Lori where holding there Baby Boy! Third to see how God works to Bring together family Like Tia and collin and Shreree and J.T. and Darlene  fourth to see how well Avery looks after seeing her so sick in Haiti.  Five to see how we all are family no matter how our family is put together Pete and Marilee.
And last but not lest Thank you Team Hope that went to Haiti to bring our Babies Home. We could never Thank you enough.
Oh yeah we need to do a Big get together so we can see all the other kids :) Lets plan something!

Hope will always be in our Heart and so will Haiti

NO no Bunny

So We explained to the kids that the Easter bunny would bring them a Basket in the Morning for Easter. They woke up and looked for their baskets and they loved the movies they got and the bag of Cheetoes. When people asked the kids if the Easter bunny came they said NO no Bunny Mama and Papa, But they still loved the Easter egg hunt's and coloring eggs.

I loved being able to buy their Baskets and loved That we where all Home for Easter.

I truly love the days when  I come into the front room and Nerlande and Yonelson are playing House with the Barbie dolls and when Nerlande loves to fix Yonelson Hair with her Hair clips and Headbands.

Fabrice is loving school and loves to watch Basketball he can not get enough of the March Madness and the Utah jazz.

A Day of Fishing

So I know it is not quite warm weather to go out on a lake to fish,But on Saturday we did.
Fabrice was so excited to see if he could catch a fish.
Yonelson was excited to be on a Boat.
Nerlande was excited for both.
But it was way to cold to catch anything so the kids had to settle for fish from the store but they still ate everybit of the fish even the eyes.
I love to see are older kids helping the little ones learn about everything and to be there for them.

Awe Spring

Today was great it feels like Spring might be finally Here. so what Better then to go out to our great Back yard and swing and climb on the Playset. We always wondered why we put in a Playset in our back yard when all of our kids at the time where way to grownup for it. well last November we finally figured it out when we started this Adoption process. It feels so good to see the three little kids with Huge smiles on there face as they swing and climb and play soccer.

He Loves the pool!

Our kids Had the day off on Friday so we took the kids to the pool. We had told them the night before we where going to go swimming they where so excited,but then that night it ended up snowing and so when Fabrice woke up and looked outside he was so worried that we would not be able to go swimming we tried to tell him that the pool was in a building.

Fabrice was so cute when we got there he just ran to the water and fell in.

We loved that little Yonelson just loved the pool,we where not sure if he would since everytime we went to Haiti he would get his suit on but not really get in the pool. But don't worry he loves the pool he was the one that cried the loudest when we had to leave. They are doing so good their hair is growing so fast there stomach is getting flatter and they are picking up on english and we also have found away to talk with each other. I love that when Dave comes Home from work they all run to the door to Hug him,It just feels so right to have them Home with us.

Almost a Month since they came home

On March 3 it will have been a month since the kids came home,and they feell like they have just always been part of the family.
Fabrice started school last Monday and he loves it,the teacher says he is doing very well he really like's math  and to play Basketball at recess.
The next big thing Fabrice has done is to learn how to ride a bike with out Training wheels.
This last weekend we took the kids to the zoo and they real loved watching the Animals.
It is still sometimes so shocking to think that they are here for good!
Are older kids are doing great and having fun with there little Brothers and Sister.
What a month!
