They are coming Home!!!

 Here is our Update !

All,
We have a plane, we have a plane, we have a plane!!!!! Please stop and say a prayer of thanks.

A group that would prefer we don't mention their names has arranged a flight going into Haiti with humanitarian supplies. They have been given a slot to land on Thursday. They will unload their cargo. They will check off and load the kids. Then they are coming home to SALT LAKE CITY UTAH.

They have some doctors and nurses going down on the plane to return with the children to make sure everyone is getting everything they need as soon as possible. I told them, "They all look really healthy" and he said, 'Then they'll snuggle the children who are scared".

And then I cried a little bit more.

Chareyl is at the Embassy now. She will be there all day long picking up Humanitarian Paroles.  We will be notified as she gets each child's paperwork.

They're coming home, ladies and gentlemen! They're coming home!!

Can YOU help a little

All,

We've got our Plan A to fuel this plane ($10K) to get the kids home.  That means you don't have to worry.  Now I want you to worry - a little bit...  We found a few people willing to give us some large chunks of money, but I KNOW this is a strain on some of them.  Will you help us to make that burden lighter for them?  Can we find many people willing to donate smaller amounts of money to get these kids home?

I've updated the Hope for Little Angels of Haiti Facebook page with this information as well.  I'll let you decide how you want to send this message out, but I am asking that you DO get word out somehow and do it ASAP, please. 

Will you start contacting everyone you know to see if they can donate any amount?

Let's see if there's a Plan B where many people can be the heroes here instead of just a few people bearing LARGE burdens.  Let's make this burden light, shall we?

I've got to run to church this morning.  (I'm teaching the lesson this morning.)  I'll be back just after 10 AM Mountain Time.  I'll be back online then.

Please send me an email if you get the call from DHS.  More families have received word, but again, it doesn't mean ALL families will be contacted and that's OK.  Just because you don't get a phone call doesn't mean that your child will not have Humanitarian Parole.

23 Days and counting

I can not wait for our plane to touch down in this third world country. When you go to this country you will never look at life the same way. From reading Lori and Brent's blog it sounds like we will be taking alot of rice down I hope everyone can get it all packed into there luggage.plus it sounds like they where able to get a Solar panel for electricity. I can not wait to see Yonelson and Nerlande and see that they are doing OK and get to spend a week with them and get to know them a little bit better. well I hope our son kolbie really has a great time getting to know his Brother and sister. 23 Days and counting !!
